For advent this year, as a church, we will read, “Voices Rising ”.
voices Rising is a compilation of the stories of many women of color in mission.
In these writings themes of belonging, identity, calling, loss, privilege and more emerge, outlining the difficulties in this type of work and challenging the image of missions while calling new voices to help shape the narrative.
It traces the discourse of intersectionality, margin, colonialism and scripture—aiming to invite and encourage all women to participate in the mission of God within our world and in whatever they may do.
To get your copy of the book via website at www.servantpartnerspress.org/voicesrising or Amazon.
At the end of each chapter, please answer the questions below

Join us as we bring our individual and corporate lament to God. This guided time will create a safe space involving a variety of ways that we individually and collectively bring our pain, loss, and brokenness before Jesus. People are free to opt in or out what they feel is comfortable. We will end our time celebrating the Lord's Supper, Jesus broken body and shed blood nourishing us.
