Our pantry is very low again! If you’d like to help serve our neighbors in a practical way, consider picking up some non-perishable items the next time you’re at the grocery store. Â Suggestions: pasta, canned items such as chili, beans, fruit, vegetables, soups, cup of noodles, oatmeal, cereal, granola bars, prepared jello and pudding, peanut butter and jelly, squeeze cheese, cheese and cracker packages, bottled water, juices, tea bags, instant coffee and cocoa, canned meats, bottled water, etc. Â It is best to donate cans that have a pop top when available for the homeless, since they don’t always have a can opener, and food that is good even if it isn’t warmed up.
Lastly, there is a donation account for the food pantry, so if you would rather donate money than shop, please drop it in the offering plate or mail a check to the church. Â Be sure to note that it is for the food pantry. Â Thank you in advance for your donations. Â Any questions, please contact Shantee at the church office at 909-622-1542 or shantee[at]pomonapres.org.
